What should someone do when they encounter a severely injured stray dog on the sidewalk?

Yesterday, a good Samaritan noticed and about when she spotted an injured kitten abandoned in a box alone on the sidewalk.

She immediately plucked the tiny lifeform to safety and rushed her to ACCT Philly for emergency care.

The tiny kitten’s leg was immediately treated, however, she still needed a home, somewhere she could heal in comfort. This issue was swiftly resolved by Erica, who quickly took her in.

Erica named her new guest Phoebe, who quickly made herself at home. Apart from her injured leg, the only other cause for concern was some incontinence and an inability to eat on her own.

However, these issues quickly cleared up after a couple of days as Phoebe quickly began to put on weight.

Soon, an increase in weight was quickly followed by an increase in energy, which resulted in multiple escape attempts.

This was quickly followed by another as the tiny feline showcased her newfound climbing skills.

Erica gave Phoebe a faux mama to keep her company when Erica wasn’t around. The good news was that at this time, Phoebe was learning to use her litter box and her behavior was becoming more aligned with that of a healthy kitten.

The good news was that Phoebe now had someone to look up to, someone to teach her how to cat.
