A helpless feline suffered severe injuries following a car collision, and heartbreakingly, the driver heartlessly left the scene, abandoning the injured cat on the side of the road. With his wounds being critical, the cat’s chances of survival were slim. Fortunately, compassionate individuals noticed the cat and promptly reached out to Dar Animal Rescue for assistance.
Late at night, Ermioni and her friends, the founders of Dar Animal Rescue, received the distress call. They had initially planned to spend the day with friends, but upon learning of the cat’s dire situation, their priorities shifted. They rushed to the scene to aid the distressed feline, understanding the urgency of the situation.
Upon arrival, they were confronted with the grim reality of the cat’s condition. The cat was in a state of shock, immobilized by the severity of his injuries. They placed him carefully in a makeshift carrier, the best option available at that moment. As they were preparing to leave, a concerned woman approached, wanting to ensure that he was indeed a stray cat. They contacted a veterinarian and persuaded her to open her clinic for their urgent case.
The vet’s examination revealed extensive injuries on the cat’s back, and he also had a minor mouth injury that hindered his breathing. Due to his compromised health, he needed to stay at the clinic for proper treatment and recovery. Overwhelmed by fear, the cat was comforted by the team’s efforts to calm him and alleviate his distress.
Knowing that the rescuers and the veterinarian are dedicated to his recovery and are providing constant support is a source of joy for us. Through their devoted care and affection, he will regain his well-being and transform into a content and joyful feline. Our aspiration is for him to swiftly find a forever home with caring guardians. We extend our gratitude for rescuing this precious furbaby and affording him a renewed opportunity for life. May you be blessed for your compassionate efforts!
